A Fantastic Day at Deeside Golf Club for Denis Law Legacy Trust

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Deeside Golf Club for this year's Denis Law Legacy Trust Golf Day, generously sponsored by CNR for the fifth consecutive year.

We were delighted to welcome 31 teams who enjoyed a fantastic day of golf, while supporting the Trust's work with young people across Aberdeen.

The competitive spirit was matched by plenty of fun, with our additional fundraising activities proving hugely popular.

After persevering for the last 5 years, congratulations go to Big Bad Bob’s Birdie Bandits (Hall Morrice) for taking home the Kings of Golf 2026 trophy.

It was a very tight finish with Team McKnight closely behind, followed by Shepherd & Wedderburn.

Malcolm Charles and Derek Thomson won the nearest the hole prizes whilst the longest drives went to Duncan McLean and Graeme Little.

Congratulations to Michael Howie and the team from Global, whose team name "Keeping it on the DL" was voted the favourite of the day. A clever nod to Denis Law that brought plenty of smiles and proved that the competition started long before the first tee shot!
