Denis Law Legacy Trust: Impact Report 2025
Now that we are halfway through 2026, we are pleased to share our Impact Report 2025.
With a full year of research, statistics and participant feedback now available, we can clearly demonstrate the positive impact and effectiveness of our programmes and the difference they are making across Aberdeen's communities.
Scott McGinigal, Chairman, Denis Law Legacy Trust said: “2025 was our most impactful year yet, reaching more young people than ever before and demonstrating the power of safe spaces, positive role models and strong community partnerships. This success would not have been possible without the dedication of our staff, volunteers, partners and supporters, whose commitment continues to create opportunities and positive outcomes for young people across Aberdeen.”
The report highlights another remarkable year of impact, with more than 28,900 participations recorded across all Streetsport sessions, demonstrating the continued demand for accessible community sport activities. It also reflects on the successful first year of the Denis Law Academy, shares key insights from Club 10's focus group findings, and celebrates the achievements of our memorable Summer to Remember programme. In addition, the report recognises the outstanding contribution of volunteers, who dedicated a total of 3,013 hours throughout the year, and pays tribute to our Fundraising Legends of 2025, whose commitment and support have helped make a lasting difference across the communities we serve.
