Football, Fun and Community Spirit Shine at our Torry Community Family Fun Day

Thank you to everyone who came to our Torry Community Family Fun Day!

On Wednesday, we held our annual Torry Community Family Fun Day at Cruyff Court Neale Cooper and encouraged those attending to ‘wear a touch of pink’.

We had an amazing afternoon, kicking off with a fantastic football match between Torry XI and Streetsport. After a great game full of effort and teamwork, Streetsport came away with a 6-4 victory. Well done to everyone who took part!

Despite the rain making an appearance, it certainly didn't dampen our spirits! The afternoon was packed with fun, face painting, glitter tattoos, inflatables, a tasty BBQ, Bev's Ice Creams, music from DJ Dennis Strachan, a cake stall and Streetsport activities and games.

In keeping with previous years, the Torry volunteers also arranged a tombola stall in aid of the Kacey Seivwright Fund, created in memory of Kacey to distribute defibrillators to local schools and kids clubs. Thank you to everyone for their kind support.

DLLT's Streetsport Operations Assistant, Kelsey Seivwright said, "The weather may not have been on our side, but the day was a tremendous success. I'm so proud of the young people who worked tirelessly to help plan and deliver the event. A heartfelt thank you to DLLT for helping me keep my sister's memory alive, it means more than I could ever put into words. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special."
