DLLT Runners Shine at the Aberdeen Half Marathon!

More than 5000 people packed Duthie Park and 3000 participants took on the Aberdeen Half Marathon!

We were there cheering on our Denis Law Legacy Trust runners and welcoming people to our gazebo along with RGU Physiotherapy, and School of Pharmacy, Applied Sciences and Public Health students who all provided well-deserved post-race massages to runners.

The calm before the event started!

Our amazing volunteers were at the heart of the action, running one of the event’s water stations, helping runners stay hydrated and focus on the finish line. Their energy, commitment and support helped make the day a huge success and runners loved seeing their friendly faces! Thank you to our volunteers who gave their time to help – we couldn’t have done it without you!

Thank you to the brilliant RGU Physiotherapy students for being part of our day! So much positive feedback about your massages, with one runner commenting “I can’t believe how good that was. My legs were starting to seize up but this was just what I needed. Well worth it!”

Physio at its best!

Finally, a huge congratulations to our runners, Kiana, Aiden, Rod and Brendan! Completing 13.1 miles is a fantastic achievement, and we're so grateful that you chose to support Denis Law Legacy Trust. Your hard work, determination and commitment have been inspiring, and we couldn't be prouder of you all!

It was such a great day and we loved being part of Europe’s Coolest Summer Marathon!
