Double National Award Success for RGU
The Denis Law Legacy Trust is proud to be in partnership with Robert Gordon University and delighted to congratulate the University on its outstanding success at the Herald Education Awards 2026, where it secured the awards for both Higher Educational Institution of the Year and Partnership with Schools.
These achievements are a testament to RGU’s unwavering commitment to employability, widening access, and delivering meaningful community impact. The University continues to lead the way in creating inclusive pathways into education, with the judges recognising the strength of its innovative Hub Widening Access Model, which is opening up new opportunities for learners across the region.
It was also fantastic to see our work with RGU shortlisted in both the Outstanding Contribution to the Local Community and the Partnership Award categories, alongside the nomination of Gray’s School of Art Mobile Art School in the same category. These recognitions really do reflect the breadth and depth of impactful work being delivered by RGU and its partners.
As an institution, RGU is a real credit to the further and higher education sector, consistently demonstrating how collaboration, innovation, and community focus can drive meaningful and lasting change.
Mark Williams, Chief Operating Officer of Denis Law Legacy Trust, said:
“We are incredibly proud of our partnership with RGU and to see the University recognised on such a significant stage. RGU’s commitment to creating opportunities, supporting communities, and delivering real impact is second to none. These awards are thoroughly deserved and reflect the dedication of everyone involved. RGU continues to set the benchmark for how education establishments can positively transform lives.”
Congratulations to everyone at RGU on a well-deserved and inspiring achievement.
