On Wednesday evening we attended the Lord Provost Volunteering Awards. It was a fantastic event celebrating the incredible contribution volunteers make across our local communities.
A huge congratulations to Dave Thompson one of our long-standing volunteers, who received the Lord Provost Volunteering Award for Individual Volunteering. This recognition is truly deserved and reflects his dedication, commitment and positive impact he continues to make through his volunteering.
As part of the celebrations, Dave was also featured in a video that was shown during the awards ceremony, highlighting his volunteering journey and the difference he makes within the community.
We would also like to congratulate our Queens group, who were presented with the Lord Provost Volunteering Award for Group Volunteering. Their collective effort, enthusiasm and commitment to supporting others has made a real difference within the community.
Congratulations once again to all the award winners and nominees. All very well deserved!
