Covid-19 Update

19/03/20 update:

Streetsport sessions at AMT and Inverurie on Thursday 19th March have also been cancelled. Only Northfield ADP and Cruyff Court Denis Law will be going ahead tonight (19th), none tomorrow or until further notice. Please read full statement below.

18/03/20 update:

With the news that Sport Aberdeen have closed astroturf’s in the city, our Streetsport sessions on Friday 20th at Dyce and Northfield will now not be running. Therefore, our last Streetsport session until further notice will be on the evening of Thursday 19th March.

Covid-19 update | As of today, Tuesday 17th March, Streetsport operations remain as normal and sessions will go ahead this week as planned.

However, as of close of play Friday 20th, all Streetsport sessions and events will be halted until further notice.

This is in response to more stringent measures being put in place by the UK Government in relation to the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Denis Law Legacy Trust will take all relevant steps to protect staff, volunteers, participants and all the wider Streetsport community as health is of course everybody’s overwhelming priority.

Any further changes will be communicated via our social media channels as early as possible so please keep an eye out for updates.

Meanwhile, please stay safe, clean & think about not only yourself but also those around you. We hope to see many of you as soon as possible to continue what has been a fantastic start to the year.

Finally, please try not to worry during this admittedly testing time. There are some great resources out there to help try and alleviate the fears of young people which we’ll provide online.
