Judy Murray masterclass for Streetsport staff and volunteers

Tennis royalty visited Robert Gordon University today as Judy Murray put on a coaching workshop for Streetsport staff and volunteers in Aberdeen.

The esteemed coach and founder of Miss-Hits, an organisation that aims to get more girls into tennis, was in the city to help promote the upcoming Battle of the Brits tournament and tennis in the community.

Having previously partnered with Streetsport on various initiatives, Judy and her team reached out to offer their expertise once again and spent the morning teaching young volunteers and coaches some tennis tips and drills at RGU Sport.

The incredible success of Emma Raducanu and lasting legacy of the Murray family is sure to inspire young people across the nation and with the equipment and now the skills, Streetsport is ready to help the next generation during their youth-led sessions across Aberdeen.

Battle of the Brits takes place in December this year and is in partnership with Brodies LLP. The Trust would like to extend their thanks to Judy and her whole team for putting on such a masterclass - it’s very much appreciated!
