DLLT 2019 fundraising dinner auction: Shirts signed by legends
Each year the Denis Law Legacy Trust host a dinner at the Marcliffe Hotel in order to raise hugely important funds for the continuing operation of the charity.
2019’s dinner lands on November 22 and will attract guests including several members of the ‘Gothenburg Greats’ plus Denis Law, Darren Fletcher, Steve Archibald, Graham Hunter and more. All of whom we are incredibly grateful to for attending and helping to raise both awareness and funds.
Entertainment on the night includes conversations with some of these aforementioned names plus a live and silent auction which offers guests the chance to purchase unique and invaluable memorabilia, experiences and more.
Up until the day of the dinner we will outline some of the different items up for grabs. This time, a selection of the signed shirts available in either the silent or live auction;
Framed Real Madrid home shirt signed by Ballon d’Or winner and current manager of Los Blancos, Zinedine Zidane.
2018/19 framed Scotland football national team shirt, signed by the 2019 squad.
Framed 1958 Scotland replica shirt. This shirt marks Denis Law’s first season as a Scotland player and also includes a programme from his debut match vs Wales. Both shirt and programme are signed by Law, Scotland’s only ever Ballon d’Or winner.
Manchester United 1973 replica shirt signed by Denis Law and framed with two, also signed, programmes. The programmes mark Law’s first and last games for the Red Devils.
Framed and signed Andy Murray white Under Armour shirt which was worn during his 2015 Montreal Masters final win over Novak Djokovic.
