Volunteering made me feel nervous at first, but now I feel so much happier about myself. And people see me differently too.
— Rachael, 19

We have a flexible approach to volunteering so if you can fit us in, we can fit you in. Be it once a week or once a month, whatever you can manage we are more than happy to accommodate. We appreciate that everyone’s lives are busy and that family, education and work take priority. This is why you don’t have to commit to certain days or even set hours of volunteering that other organisations ask of you.

In return for your help, we run regular volunteer training and social activities throughout the year. This year we've covered Personal Safety, Conflict Resolution and put volunteers through the Emergency First Aid At Work qualification. Our socials have seen us have a go at surfing, snowboarding and curling, among other activities.

We also support volunteers working towards Saltire Awards or other professional qualifications where possible.
